Privacy Protocols

Last Updated: May 18, 2026

1. Zero-PII Commitment

Our redirection engine is built on absolute privacy. We do not use cookies, we do not tracker users, and we do not collect Personally Identifiable Information (PII). We route signals, we don't store them.

2. Distributed Data

Analytics are performed at the edge. We aggregate non-identifiable data like device type and approximate location cluster to provide performance metrics without identifying individuals.

3. Data Integrity

Your dynamic QR asset configurations are encrypted at rest. We maintain the bridge between your physical asset and your digital destination with maximum integrity and minimal footprint.

4. Google API Services & User Data Policy

Our application ("QR Studios") enables users to create QR codes that link directly to their cloud files using the Google Drive integration. To comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, we disclose our practices below:

  • Data Accessed: We use the Google Drive Picker API to allow you to select files from your Google Drive. Our application only accesses the URL and file name of the specific file(s) you actively select.
  • Data Usage: The accessed file URL and name are used strictly and only to generate a QR code that redirects to your selected file. This facilitates your ability to seamlessly share your content through our platform.
  • Data Sharing: We do not share, sell, or transfer your Google user data with any third-party services or vendors under any circumstances.
  • Data Storage & Protection: We do not persistently store your Google user data (such as Drive file URLs or content) on our servers or databases. The file URL and name are processed locally within your browser session to generate the QR code. Any QR configurations saved persistently point only to the public shareable link you authorized, secured via standard encryptions.
  • Data Retention & Deletion: Because we process your Google user data ephemerally or merely store the public URL string you authorized for the explicit purpose of generating a redirect, there is no sensitive backend data to retain. You can delete any saved QR code configurations directly from your Dashboard at any time, which entirely removes the redirect link from our systems.

"Privacy is not a feature; it is the infrastructure upon which trust is built."
